Pepsi Summer Promotion Contest, Plus How to Update Your Machine Design

Mark Maiola with Pepsi shared during a recent RSA Town Hall meeting the following updates about the Pepsi Program!

  • The rink with the highest percentage increase in total Pepsi sales this summer will win a prize pack with 10 shirts and 10 hats. 
  • The rink with the highest increase in bottle and can sales will receive the prize pack, as well. 
  • If you need a cooler for your bottles and cans, contact Sharon McMahon so she can get in touch with Mark to get you a cooler for your product. 
  • One of the things he heard at the convention was that your machines look a bit worn. Their service team should be out in your areas twice per year for preventative maintenance. When they're out there, make sure that if there are any fountain stickers, you have them replaced! If you have a service call that you need to use, please let Sharon know, and she can have Mark get someone to you to have these replaced. They're supposed to be doing that with your preventative maintenance calls, so make sure you mention when you schedule the maintenance.
  • The items you see here are under $100 or less, but they are available to you to keep your equipment looking fresh and up to date. They can do fountain lenses, cooler graphics, and fountain backs.
  • If your machine is working well and dispensing product, it's not a good idea to replace it. If it's breaking every week, that's a good candidate for a replacement. However, a new machine is often an older and unused machine that might have new stickers on it, as you see above, but there is a higher chance of it breaking. Machines work better when they're used a lot than when they have been sitting and unused. If it's just cosmetic, they can do the above to make it look new and no one will know any different. 
  • The RSA has a price cap with only one rate increase per year. If you see otherwise, let Sharon know.
