HOTEL SCAM ALERT: Members targeted with fake hotel booking calls While this is an issue every year and many of you are familiar, we've been notified that scammers are in full force yet again. We have been alerted to the hotel scam that goes as follows: Caller contacts RSA member or vendors at the RSA Convention with identifying information found on the RSA website Caller tells member/vendor that they can get them a better rate than the RSA host hotel is offering members. Member then provides caller with credit card information to book hotel. Member is then scammed out of money and the hotel shows no room booked. Please do not fall for these phone calls.
