As many of you know, the RSA Board of Directors, RSA President, and Executive Director worked on the newest music licensing organization’s contract, Global Music Rights. On June 21, 2022, they approved the new Global Music Rights / RSA Partnership signed by Executive Director Jim McMahon. This agreement will give members a discounted rate based on their gross revenue, which is significantly below the regular street rate.
Every year, Global Music Rights will require a payment from RSA members who play any music from artists they represent and is based on gross revenue. Just as you do with ASCAP and BMI, members will remit their payments to the RSA, who will collect everyone’s licensing fees to deliver to Global Music Rights.
The License Fee shall be calculated as follows. There is no quarterly rate and must be paid in full each year.
