As a member of the RSA, you are entitled to music licensing discounts. Being a roller skating center requires paying for music licensing from the four major music licensing firms: BMI, SESAC, ASCAP, and Global Music Rights. The RSA has an agreement with ASCAP to benefit the RSA Member Rinks. The RSA accepts payments on behalf of ASCAP with your membership renewal. Please note that all roller skating centers utilizing music must register with these four licensing agencies and pay their ASCAP dues to the RSA no later than the deadline. This is a hard deadline, and there are no exceptions. If you submit your payment after this due date, it must be for the total retail value listed and offered directly to ASCAP. The 4% credit card fee is listed in the total payment amount.
