One of the things that they struggled with was prices and what to charge. In the Menus program, you set up a menu that you plan to sell at your rink. Take for instance, your pizza. You put in the cheese, the sauce, the pepperoni, the size of the dough, the other toppings, and it AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATES THE COST PER PIZZA, and then you enter the price that you're charging so that you can see if you're charging what you should to cover your own costs and how to make a profit! It's all done for you! He said they're saving over 29% on their food costs and he is thrilled. They've gone from buying 50 items from US Foods, now they're up to 82 that includes more than just food. Everything they were buying from other stores, they found it all in the US Foods system. There are stores called US Foods Chef Stores that are like giant grocery stores for businesses. You can go in, grab your items, hand them your phone with the app and barcode they'll scan, auto bills you at your prices for those items through the system so that if you run out you can run and grab it. That alone has paid for their membership multiple times over.
